Since the Tulsa Run Fiasco, I've been consistently running 4x/week--about 12-15 miles per week. I'm also doing an exercise DVD once/week. I just bought myself the 30 Day Shred DVD (on sale for $8.00!) and look forward to the challenge of that. First I'll have to learn how to use our TV/DVD player . . . :-/
I plan to continue as above, indefinitely. I don't know if I'll do any races in 2010. I mainly just want to maintain good health with my exercise.
Boring. But faithful and committed.
That's about it.
Spiritually: For the first part of 2010, I'll be working on memorizing the book of James. I think I have chapter 1 learned. :-) I'll be doing a Precepts study of James with the women of our church. My Bible reading plan for this year is to read 3chapters/day of the NT, thus reading through the entire NT 4X this year. I will also read a Proverb a day and a couple of Psalms everyday.
Happy New Year! And Happy running!
May we grow in His grace and believe what He says.
God's blessings, peace,hope and joy~

To continue to exercise on a regular basis - a great accomplishment! Nice Bible reading and memorization goals, too! Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteGreat goals, both running and spiritual. Happy New Year to you! :)
ReplyDeleteGreat goals! Happy New Year!!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE James! Which book are you using?
ReplyDeleteNot boring at all - being healthy is the main goal! Who knows, maybe once spring rolls around you'll want to run a race of some sort. :)
I love reading your thoughts. I pray that I will grow up like you! Wish I could have gotten to 'spend actual time' with you this weekend, but alas, I still got a hug. Love you. Anna
ReplyDeleteHey!!!!!!!! I had no idea you had a blog! Yay!! To answer your question: We like the North Little Rock Farmer's Market the best because it's certified LOCAL foods. The downtown farmer's market (at Rivermarket) is fun and bustling and the kids like it a lot, but they get stuff from all over the place. I'm hoping they'll change their ways eventually. Of course, right now (winter) both markets are open for online ordering from local (mostly central Arkansas) farmers. I can email you the links if you'd like them. The eggs we got are from strictly pastured hens. Yum!

ReplyDeleteHi, Mary Ann....Hope all is well. I've missed hearing from you! Hasn't the weather been gorgeous? Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteHi! It's always nice to meet another Christian runner. I like your "About Me" and your spiritual goals for the year. I've got to read further to find out what the running fiasco was. My husband had one of those last Saturday....
