Pace=8.44
I drank a cup of hot tea shortly before I ran to see if the caffeine would give a boost, but I'm not sure that it made a difference. I probably need to allow more time between the tea and the run.
Yesterday I finally forked over the money for the Firecracker 5K. I will be running with 2 of my sons-age 14 (almost 15) and 17 (almost 18). I am so thankful that the temps have dropped a little this week-it really helps!
Tomorrow will be a rest day-well, at least from running . . . I don't intend to stay in bed all day, or anything. :-)
While signing up for the 5K yesterday at the local running store, I saw that there will be a twilight run July 11-that sounds like fun! But it's not a flat course-it goes over a bridge that is pretty steep. I'll have to think that over.

So glad you will be running the 5k! I hope you race well and enjoy the time with your sons, too! I enjoyed seeing J lead worship last night!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Kim! I've been praying for the Honduras team and thanking God for His provision. How's the aqua running? I'm glad that you have easy access to a pool!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your prayers...Gracie's group should be in about 9:30pm.
ReplyDeleteWhat a GREAT pace! Wow. I am so excited that you have signed up for the race and with your 2 sons, how fun! I love it when others enter races, it is exciting to follow! :)
