Not.
Last night I took about a 45 minute walk with my friend. Uneventful. Except that she is now working on memorizing all of Revelation, so she quoted chapters 1-6, part of 7, and 19-22. I, on the other hand, have been slacking on my scripture memory. Working on Matthew, chapter 5 today.
My youngest son is on the school cross country team. Today, I ran with the team. Rather, I ran behind the team, drafting. Can you "draft" from 50 yards back? I thought not. :-) It was fun! I ran about 3.5 miles. I hope to become more involved with the team this year-running some, getting to know the kids, building into their lives. Just call me "cross country" mom.
The boys are coming home from working out-they just called and requested "eggs in a nest," so I'd better get cooking.
This song from the 70s just came to me:
O how He loves you and me! O how He loves you and me! He gave His life, what more could He do? O how He loves you! O how He loves me! O how He loves you and me!
Thankful for His sacrificial and steadfast love!
