that is to say, walking with my friend (instead of running).
Yesterday I walked with my friend at Pinnacle Park and this morning we will walk in the neighborhood for about 45 minutes.
I really wanted to run this morning b/c it's perfect running weather-about 50 degrees-, but I needed the sleep and since I'm not training right now, I decided to be content with a walk for today.
Whoever walks with the wise becomes wise . . . Proverbs 13:20. My walking friend is very wise (she has been walking faithfully with the Lord since she was a little girl) and such an encouragement and blessing to me. The exercise is good, but the fellowship and sharing of our lives in the Lord has been an abundant and unexpected blessing. Thank you, Lord Jesus!
Grace and peace!
