I love to pray while running. I usually start by praying for my DH, then go down the line praying for my kids and their spouses, and my precious granddaughter. It is a sweet time.
The other thoughts I have while running are my "to-do" list, and working through situations having to do with my children, friends, and activities.
This morning I woke up early--5:30--, but I thought it was 6:30, so I got up and then realized the time. Oh well, this way I had time to run before taking DR to school. The temp was about 67 and it felt good for half a mile, or so. Then I was hot. I ran through the neighborhood for 45 minutes. My legs feel stronger, but I really wonder how I will do running in the heat/humidity this summer. Ugh.
I read in Kim's blog about a DVD called Shred. I may look into that, but I fear becoming overly concerned with health and physical fitness. I want to be strong and healthy, but I don't want it to become an idol or obsession.
