This morning I ran about 3 miles, maybe a little faster than normal. No speed bump trips this time. :-)
Being drenched and stinky, I showered and put on fresh clothes.
Then walked 3 miles with my friend. Recited 2 Tim to her. She recited Rev. 1-5 and 19-22 to me.
Tomorrow DH and I are flying to Seattle for a few days. He is speaking at a men's retreat on Saturday and preaching a father's day message on Sunday. We will get to see our dtr/son-in-law and g'dtr, as they just so happen to live in Seattle. We're excited to spend time with them.
The weather in Seattle will be lovely for running-I hope I find time to run at least twice.
The Lord be with your spirit. Grace be with you. 2 Tim. 4:22

ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry about your fall yesterday...that could've had been UGLY...glad you were okay!
Enjoy your time with your daughter and her family.
Have fun getting some runs in,too! I would love to hear about it when you get back!
It sounds like a wonderful time. I pray that your time will be fruitful. Seattle looks like such a beautiful place to run. Enjoy your time!
ReplyDeleteHave a great trip! I love it when any kind of trip can be combined with visiting family!
ReplyDeleteAnd enjoy your new running surroundings! I hear Seattle is THE place for coffee too! :)
Seattle is a great place for coffee, and other fun things, like a cool library, and a chocolate factory :-), but neither one of us is a coffee drinker. Never have been. All of our kids, except 1, drink coffee and have worked as baristas at various times. Go figure!
ReplyDeleteThanks for all your good wishes and prayers, friends!
Happy trails! Or streets, as the case may be. Or beds, sofas and chairs for sweet Kim.
