My plan was to run 4-6 miles this morning. At about 4 miles, I began adding extra loops to my route, planning to run 6 miles. However, within a few minutes I began to feel a tiny twinge in my right hip. Thinking of Terri and her hip issues, I decided I wouldn't push it and just ran 5 miles, with an extra-long walking cool-down.
And I will walk with my friend a little later this morning.
Last night the family--4 of us--played Speed Scrabble. Love it!

A wise decision.
ReplyDeleteI have heard of Scrabble but not speed scrabble, sounds interesting! I love family games nights.
I agree - probably a wise decision.

we had family game night saturday - monopoly! i think it would be fun to try speed scrabble!
ReplyDeletegood for you for listening to your instincts... walking it out helped i hope!
Oh no I hope the hip issue doesn't stick around. Thankfully mine is not getting worse. I am hoping that at some point it will get better though. I have reduced my daily mileage in an attempt to keep it at bay. I hope it was only a twinge and doesn't happen again.
