Tulsa is a great town! I lived here for the first 29 years of my life. It's a beautiful city, well laid out, and a good place to run.
Today is my oldest child's b'day. She is 28! How can that be? It's a treat to be with her today. Her daughter-4.5 months old-is precious. I'm glad for some time with my Tulsa family (mom and brothers), including my sister and her kids from MN.
After thunderstorms in the night, the weather this morning was humid, but the run went well. From the condo, I ran down Birmingham Ave., which turned into 57th st. Kept going and ran past Manion Park and Grissom Elementary to Harvard. Then back. I didn't get lost-that's always a bonus! :-) I have been known to lose my bearings occasionally when I run in strange places b/c I don't pay attention to my surroundings-I just run and think and pray.
A forty minute run.
So much to thank God for!

So glad you are having such a wonderful time with your family. Family time is always precious isn't it? :)
ReplyDeleteAnd you're getting a chance to get out running in a different place as well!
I'm so glad you are having a nice time with your family! How many siblings do you have? Your oldest is 28? Where has the time gone? I know you must enjoy having a granddaughter! I look forward to that special time one day!
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like you had a nice run this morning. I would really love to run in one of Tulsa's races one day! Tulsa is such a nice place to visit.
Enjoy your time!
