River run

80 degrees. 80% humidity.

I had planned to run 6 miles. About 6:15 A.M., I went down to the river with my water bottle, vanilla Gu, and a little bit of excitement to be running in a new location. There were lots of runners/bikers and a pleasant breeze. I ran with an older gentleman for a half mile or so, until he went on his merry way, hoping to do 10-12 miles.

It was not a good run. I couldn't run the whole distance-it was too hot. I wanted to just collapse in the grass-I was so tired. I went for 60 minutes-which is good, but I did a lot of walking. I was too weak and weary to even get my Gu out of my belt and tear it open.

Oh well. I tried.

I hear cooler weather is coming Sunday night-that will help. :-)

Looking forward to worship tomorrow!
